How does COB packaged LED display achieve 3D display effect?

There are many ways to achieve 3D display effects with COB packaged LED displays, mainly through special technologies and designs. First, the 3D effect can be achieved by using parallax barrier technology. This technology sets a fine barrier on the screen, and when light passes through these barriers, it enters the left and right eyes separately, thus creating a three-dimensional effect. The parallax barrier consists of a series of parallel fine lines that are arranged at specific intervals so that each eye can only see specific rows of pixels, thereby achieving the separation of left and right eye views. In addition, lens array technology can also be used, which uses a series of tiny lenses to refract the image to different angles, so that each eye sees a slightly different image, thereby forming a three-dimensional visual effect. Lens arrays are usually composed of hundreds or even thousands of tiny lenses, each of which can focus light to a specific angle, so that each eye can provide a unique perspective.

Another common method is polarized light technology. In this technology, the LED display emits light with two different polarization directions. By wearing corresponding polarized glasses, the left and right eyes of the viewer receive different image information, thus achieving a 3D viewing experience. The advantage of this method is that it is low cost and easy to implement. Polarized light technology uses the wave characteristics of light to control the polarization direction of light so that the image information received by the left and right eyes is different. Specifically, the LED display screen will alternately display two images with different polarization directions, while polarized glasses can filter out unwanted polarized light and only allow light with a specific polarization direction to pass through, thus achieving stereoscopic vision.

Another more advanced technology is holographic 3D display. Although this technology is not widely used in LED displays at present, it has great potential. Holographic 3D display can record and reproduce all light information of an object, including depth information, so it can provide more realistic and true three-dimensional images. Holographic technology captures all light information reflected or scattered on the surface of an object and stores it in the form of interference patterns. When this information is re-irradiated, a three-dimensional image that is almost exactly the same as the original object can be reconstructed. This technology not only provides a more realistic visual experience, but also allows users to observe objects from multiple angles, enhancing interactivity and immersion.
